Cenote Zapote "The Bells of the Underworld"

World-famous for its unique geological formations called "Bells of the Underworld", it is a favorite spot for certified divers and those who are not afraid of heights, thanks to its jump platforms.

It's an open cenote with a depth ranging from 3 to 20 meters in different areas. It's worth noting that for the 7-meter jumps, you have to climb a tree and feel the adrenaline rush mixed with the warmth that invites you to take the most refreshing dip. The best part is that from above, you can wave directly to the spider monkeys that roam freely or wander among the trees.

Here you'll find palapas, hammocks, grills, changing rooms, and a shop—definitely a place to relax and have a good time.

Escape to the Cenote Route and connect with sacred nature

Without a doubt, the Cenote Route is ideal for spending an amazing weekend with friends or family. When visiting the cenotes, it's very important to keep in mind that the use of any type of sunscreen or tanning lotion is NOT permitted, and in some places, you'll be asked to shower before entering the water to protect the ecosystem.
